We've just returned from a week in the 'purple stripe' travelling around Assynt. This was a great way to travel and stop off wherever we saw a viewpoint or a site of interest. Consequently one hour journeys became four hours ! Lovely beachside camping at Clachtoll and a couple of wild camping nights. Extremely comfortable campervan with great panoramic views from the back seat. Superbly equipped with Alice thinking of everything that you may need for the journey - even a portable DVD player for those inevitable damp evenings. We would recommend Strathpefffer campervans to anybody wishing to visit The Highlands.
